William Cohan is a contributing editor at Fortune, and award-winning former investigative newspaper reporter. Cohan worked on Wall Street for 17 years, spending 6 years at Lazard Frères in New York and later becoming a managing director at JP Morgan Chase. He is the author of Money and Power: How Goldman Sachs Came to Rule the World (April 2011), House of Cards (2009) and The Last Tycoons: The Secret History of Lazard Frères & Co. (2007).
