New Ashford farmer Phoebe Jordan was the first woman to vote for a US President. In 1920, she cast her ballot at the New Ashford School House. The Northern Berkshire Suffrage Centennial Coalition celebrates 100 years of women’s suffrage with some local history & theatrics.
